Traceable Change contacted Gate3 to develop a new module for a mobile-based training and learning platform, as well as develop and implement a DevOps strategy to support role-based functions and optimize content creation and management. Our team helped re-architect back-end infrastructure to enable a reporting module for the training application. We were also able to provide a sandbox training area for users by introducing VueJS as a modern and interactive client-side framework. Our team also addressed Traceable Change’s DevOps concerns through re-architecting data, additional database setup and management, additional development, and new server configurations for Traceable Change’s infrastructure.

Through this engagement, Gate3 has established a strong partnership with Traceable Change, one that is already projected to continue thru 2022. This type of partnership has been instrumental to Gate3’s success and growth

The Illinois Tollway system collects money from thousands of drivers passing through expressways across the state. With a system that deals with so many people daily, it’s important for them to continuously keep their equipment up to date.

Microsoft officially began its end-of-life phase for Windows 7 on January of 2020. This meant that Microsoft no longer supported laptops or desktops on that OS. Microsoft would also not provide any new patches with security updates.  Thus, the Illinois Tollway began efforts to upgrade their systems to Windows 10 back in 2019. In order to ensure operations on a supported and secure platform, the Illinois Tollway needed someone to smoothly roll-out 1,600 new Hewlett Packard (HP) ProDesk 600 G4 SFF Business workstations.

We partnered up with Computer Aid, Inc., through the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program, to provide installation services for these new workstations so that the Illinois Tollway can continue running efficiently with sufficient equipment.

Participation in Sourcewell is available to all government entities: public and private K-12 schools, colleges, and universities; and nonprofit organizations. There is no cost, no obligation, and no liability. To learn more about Cooperative Purchasing and Sourcewell, click this link right here.

Through the Illinois Tollway project and our partnership with CAI, we can not only showcase our passion for technology, but also our drive to help others and make our state a better place.
